On May 4th Reptile Encounters ran an exciting incursion for our students as part of our Unit of Inquiry for Term 2: Mini Beasts:
A World of Small Creatures. Students got up close and personal with some of their favourite insects and animals. Students even got to handle some of them (the safer ones).
Josh taught us something special about each minibeast, from Cheryl and Pauline, the spinney leafed stick insects who curl their tails to look like a scorpion, to Matthew the flinders ranges scorpion who glows under UV light.
